Tonight on Rated LGBT Radio, Rob welcomes Donna Kaz. Donna is the author of "UN/MASKED, Memoirs of a Guerrilla Girl On Tour" - Skyhorse November 2016. She is a multigenre writer and activist based in New York City. Her work has screened at the Portobello Film Festival and the Chashama Film Festival and produced at Harlem Stage, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Spit Lit Festival/London, International Women’s Arts Festival/UK, Women Playwrights International Conference, City of Women Festival/Slovenia, and Lincoln Center. She has been published in Lilith, Turning Wheel, Trivia: Voices of Feminism, Western Press Books, Hawai’i Review, (Ian MacMillan Award), Mason’s Road and Step Away Magazine, (Pushcart Prize nomination). For her work creating activist art she has received the Yoko Ono Courage Award for the Arts, the Skowhegan medal and an Elizabeth George Foundation Grant. Brody Levesque is the Chief Political Correspondent for The New Civil Rights Movement. He began his career as a wire service reporter in 1980, working on politics, public policy, and international issues. He most recently served as the Washington D. C. bureau chief for LGBTQ Nation magazine, a web based news & commentary site for the LGBTQI community. Additionally an amateur historian, he published his first book on early U.S. presidential automotive transportation in 2015 and is working on his second book detailing the rise of a closeted gay American religious figure in the early to mid twentieth century.

Alec Fischer, 21, uses film to create social change. During his senior year at Edina High School, he produced a documentary called “Minnesota Nice?” The film was heralded as a successful way to raise awareness of bullying and suicide rampant in Minnesota schools. Alec has traveled throughout the Midwest presenting his documentary to 45 schools, universities, film festivals, community events and bullying prevention rallies. The video has amassed more than 17,000 YouTube views.

Caroline Giammanco grew up on a farm in the Ozark Mountains of southern Missouri. After high school, she attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science. She later completed the post-baccalaureate education program at the University of Arizona. She has taught English in public schools for over twenty years in Arizona, New Mexico and now Missouri. She is the English Department Chairperson at her current high school. She is the mother of two sons, Rick and Kevin, and is active in the lives of Keith's children, Marissa and Elise.
