HBO Max’s new film Lupe - Its Star and Exec Producer With Us Today!

“Lupe” is a new drama that explores the topics of family, immigration and embracing one’s true identity.It is directed by the team of  André Phillips & Charles Vuolo.  It depicts the complex world of Rafael (Rafael Albarrán), a Cuban immigrant and boxer, struggling with their transgender identity while searching for their missing sister, Isabel (Lucerys Medina) in New York City’s underground sex industry. Today we have star Rafael Albarran and executive producer Kerry Michelle O'Brien to discuss the beauty and impact of this deeply moving film. The directors released this statement about the film: "In Lupe, our protagonist Rafael appears to have one primary goal: to find their sister Isabel and free her from a painful life.
